How to Order at Our Contactless Takeaway Cafes

New times require new models of care. As our daily habits are changing, our highest priority remains unchanged: to offer care and hospitality for anyone that needs it. For us, today hospitality must also include safety. That’s why have reopened our US cafes to offer contactless takeaway orders only. Find up-to-date locations and hours listed by region here. We can’t wait to welcome you with delicious coffee.

How to Order

  • To ensure a contactless experience, you can place your order online through our iOS app. You will be given a pickup time when your order will be ready for you. You can also order at the cafe.

  • Rather than condiment bars, we have created options for adding milk and sugar to coffee drinks within our ordering platforms.

  • All orders are served for takeaway only, in disposable to-go cups with lids.

  • In addition to a limited coffee and drinks menu, cold brew cartons and cans, pastries, cookies, and other treats including guest-favorite overnight oats are also available.  

  • For brewing coffee at home, you can shop from a selection of our whole-bean coffees and brew tools.

  • Whether you have ordered through our app or wish to order at the entrance, line up to check in when you get to the cafe, wearing your face covering. We are requiring them for order pickup.

  • When your order is ready, a barista will call your name, and set it out on a table equipped with a sneeze guard to ensure a contactless handoff.

How You Can Help

  • Wear a mask. All guests are required to wear a mask to keep everyone safe.

  • Outside the cafes, please maintain social distancing practices and stand at least six feet apart. 

  • To save you time, we encourage you to use our iOS app to order ahead. It might take longer than usual to fill your order so that our cafe teams can maintain social distancing inside the cafes.

  • Take good care of yourself: if you are not feeling well, rest at home to recover before treating yourself to your next Blue Bottle cafe pick-me-up.

  • We invite you to reach out to our guest services team at support@bluebottlecoffee.com with any comments or questions you might have. 

How We’re Keeping Our Teams Safe

  • We have reorganized staffing and workflows to support social distancing among our teams.

  • We have provided our team members with the personal protective gear such as face masks and gloves, as well as additional measures they need to work safely, including health screenings and temperature checks. We have also enhanced air circulation and added antimicrobial air filters to the ventilation systems.

  • Outside the cafes, we have installed Plexiglas sneeze guards in the pickup zone. 

  • We have increased the frequency and attention with which we sanitize our cafes and work surfaces and have added partners as needed to support the additional work.

  • Our cafe teams will be talking with each other daily about what works and what doesn’t. We are asking them to be as transparent with us as possible so we can continue to improve how we’re safely serving our guests.
