As devoted to our coffees as we are, our house-made pastries generate plenty of their own fanfare. From the recently reinstated Saffron Snickerdoodle to our savory shortbread, our culinary team keeps our pastry shelves stocked with sweet and savory offerings. The newest addition to the lineup—the Blue Bottle Chocolate Chip Cookie—is sure to be a guest favorite.

"It's fantastic," says Culinary Operations Program Manager Hourie Sahakian of the house-made treat. With a few tweaks on the original recipe, first served in our Tokyo cafes, this chocolatey confection is "straightforward and traditional," says Culinary Operations Manager David Hurt. "Except for the sea salt," he adds, which strikes a delicate balance with the sweetness of the 70% cacao chocolate.

Chocolatey though it may be, this cookie's best feature? It pairs with every single one of our coffees.
