Standing with our Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander Communities

The following is a version of a letter sent March 19, 2021, to all Blue Bottlers by CEO Karl Strovink and Senior Global Director of Culture and Community Eryka Vargas.

Dearest Blue Bottlers,

As anti-Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) racism continues to be on the rise, we stand in solidarity with our AAPI communities in the US and around the globe. We are ensuring we continue to use our voices and platforms to speak out against racism and call attention to these injustices.

As we stand with our Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander communities, we have made a $50,000 donation to Stop AAPI Hate in support of their anti-Asian racism efforts, and encourage everyone to visit their page to learn ways they can also help. All Blue Bottlers are also eligible for free access to up to 20 sessions with skilled counselors who can help you in difficult times. We have also shared therapist-led Circles as an external space where folx can join to heal as a community.  

Over the last year we’ve been on a journey toward anti-racism as a company, partnering with Dr. Akilah Cadet and her team at Change Cadet as well as tEQuitable to help us ensure our journey is intentional and not performative.
